This structural design firm in SE1 have a rare opportunity for an experienced structural engineer with good buildings structures refurbishment design skills to join their happy and friendly team. They strive to pursue engineering excellence in all they undertake.

You will be given responsibility to manage your own projects, liaise with project partners and present your work at group development meetings.

You should be qualified MICE or MIStructE (or very nearly) and have a relevant degree of grade 2.1 or higher from a leading UK university. You must be able to demonstrate varied experience in building structures design on a range of projects and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Good London refurbishment project skills are essential as many of the current projects are of this nature. You must enjoy a problem solving approach to engineering design. An interest in conversation works would be advantageous.

You should have a personality and communication skills that allow you to represent the firm at meetings, speak to clients and deal with architects.
