Lead EIA Consultant

Due to continued growth, a great position for an experienced and knowledgeable Lead EIA Consultant has just become available. Working within a busy Environmental Impact Assessment team, you will primarily provide support to development and decommissioning projects across offshore oil and gas and marine cables. You will also likely get involved in our renewable energy and aquaculture projects as needs dictate. Whether your background of these types of projects is rooted in time in consultancy, regulator, stakeholder or operator, you would be expected to use your knowledge of the associated legislation to manage and/or support EIAs, helping to scope projects, support stakeholder engagement, prepare Environmental Statements and Appraisals and support in the post-consent phases. You will work within an industry-leading team of in-house specialists to make this happen. You will also be expected to contribute to quality assurance reviews of work produced by other consultants in the team. Where your technical ability excels in a particular area, we would expect you to act as, or quickly become, an internal Subject Matter Expert.

You should have experience relevant to acting as project manager and key client contact on a day to day basis. The ability to deliver projects on time and to budget is critical.

The team that you will join is well-established, well-respected and provides an excellent working environment. You will actively engage in developing our internal processes and in developing existing and new client relationships.

We look forward to receiving your application. For further information, then please contact Barrie Dempster at ALLEN & YORK LTD on 01202 888986 or email bdempster@allen-york.com
