A rare opportunity for an enthusiastic, ambitious, well qualified geo-environmental/geotechnical engineer with a positive outlook to join this growing geo-environmental team based at our clients central Birmingham office.  The practice are a well- established structural, civil and geo/environmental consultancy with a host of clients across the country.

As their workload continues to grow they have created a role for an experienced Geo/Environmental Engineer.  You will be a graduate in a related subject and possess solid experience of working in consulting in the capacity of Senior/Principal Geo-environmental Engineer with a focus on ground investigation design, management and supervision, contaminated land and geotechnical assessment with experience in a broad range of sectors (e.g. housing, retail, commercial etc.).

You will be experienced in managing and conducting ground investigation fieldwork, commissioning and conducting subcontractors and dealing with site health and safety requirements and have a proven track record of successful project management and mentoring less experienced staff from a position of technical strength.

Additionally you will be able to demonstrate a strong commercial focus, with the ability to work successfully within a rapidly expanding engineering consultancy.
