Civil Engineer

This major UK contractor’s multi-discipline design division is overseeing large and complex projects throughout the UK, with emphasis on schemes in London and the South East. You will work on commercial, energy, healthcare, rail and public-sector projects. This will mean working as part of an integrated team of architects, geotechnical engineers, civil and structural professionals. 

They are looking for an engineer with temporary works design experience who wants long term career and professional development prospects. You will provide full design and consultation to site based and tender teams. You should have experience of steel, concrete and masonry design. You will be involved in a full range of temporary works engineering including falsework, formwork, facade support, ground support, propping, foundations for tower cranes, mobile crane hoists and gantries. You should be a degree qualified civil engineer and be chartered with the Institution of civil engineers, Institution of Structural Engineers or equivalent, if you are not yet chartered you should be an incorporated engineer or close to achieving chartered status.

You will been to be chartered to be eligible for a car/ car allowance.
