You will be advising developers, retailers, operators, land owners and public sector bodies across the full range of land uses including mixed use, retail, residential, commercial, health, education, energy, leisure and logistics. They specialise in assisting the property development industry to maximise the commercial value of land and assets through the planning process. Your new company has gained an enviable reputation for master planning and securing planning consents and Development Consent Orders for complex and challenging schemes.

The Transport Planning team focuses on providing high quality consultancy advice, adding value through the inclusion of innovative solutions and by working closely with the Engineering Design and Flood and Water Management teams to provide holistic opinions and advice on development.

As a highly regarded group of professionals with a very promising order book, they are now looking to appoint a Principal Transport Planner to join their high performing Bristol team.

Your new role & what you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced transport planner with a proven track record in transport development planning to meet your new company's current and future workload. You will be able to demonstrate a history of successfully delivering high quality technical work and managing and developing client relationships. As a Principal Transport Planner, you will be responsible for the delivery of a variety of projects as well as assisting in the delivery of larger strategic projects as part of larger teams alongside senior colleagues. You should have around 6+ years' relevant experience, excellent written and numerical skills and a sound knowledge of junction modelling and preliminary design.
