Associate Transport Planner

Associate Transport Planner working for an established consultancy in Manchester.

Your new company
Your new company is a multi-disciplinary consultancy, with a North West hub based in the heart of Manchester. Your new home has at present a really interesting and varied workload covering private development projects and large highways schemes. Due to continued growth and an excellent project pipeline they are looking to bring in a Associate Transport Planner to assist the regional director in leading the overall transport team.

Your new role
In your new role you will assist the leading transport planning team and take lead of some significant projects for the business. You will be required to assist in the preparation of Transport Assessments, Transport Feasibility Studies and Travel Plans. You will also focus on the preparation of junction capacity analysis, figures for reports, swept path assessment, analysis of data, and drawings of transport improvements including junction designs

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need to come from a strong transport planning background, and have experience working at a senior level. You will need to have prior knowledge of delivering both public and private sector projects. You need to ideally be chartered and have knowledge of how to use Arcady or Picady.
