We are pleased to offer the opportunity to join a top tier consulting engineer in Glasgow as they look to appoint a Senior Civil Engineer to their Marine/Infrastructure team.

You will be responsible for the design and analysis of a range of civil & structural elements, project delivery, client liaison and management of a small project team.

Your new office is centrally located within 5 minutes' walk of the nearest subway station, 10 mins from both Queen Street and Central Station and directly on main bus routes.

Your new employer is a leader within the Civil Engineering market, with over a dozen UK offices, 500+ technical staff and a multi-disciplinary offering covering all aspects of buildings and infrastructure.

Projects will include but not limited to: Ports, Harbours, Piers & On-shore wind.

You will be joining a team of 16, which currently consists of 3 Chartered Civil Engineers, several Engineers/Graduates and 3 Civil Engineering Technicians.

Requirements of the Senior Civil Engineer:

  • Degree qualified in Civil Engineer or related
  • Previous experience working on civil structures in the marine sector - marinas, quay walls, wave protection schemes etc
  • Ability to run a small team of 5 on multiple projects at once
  • Ideally Chartered or working towards
