Structural Steel Detailer

Steel detailing experience using Tekla is required for this new career opportunity.  The building division of this leading contractor has a growing workload within their London region. The position will enable you to carve out a career with a successful building & civil  contractor and make a key contribution to project delivery. Your role will have an emphasis on preparing steel drawings for submission to steel fabricators. You should ideally have experience of using specialist steel detailing software, which should ideally include Tekla.

You will work closely with the company’s in-house structural engineering manager, he will also provide direction and guidance. There will be regular contact with site based project managers and fabricators and occasional site visits. The ability to forge productive working relationships with colleagues, consultants and suppliers is essential. You will need good interpersonal skills and the ability to track and organise your own workload. Current projects include education,  healthcare, residential and public sector buildings.
