Senior Transport Planner

Your new company
The company are an established consultancy focused on offering their clients structural engineering, mechanical and electrical building services. Being internationally recognised for their road engineering services they offer services to clients predominately in the private sector working on commercial and redevelopment projects, having offices located throughout major cities in the UK.

Your new role
The London office is seeking an enthusiastic Senior Transport Planner to join their team to be engaged in all aspects of traffic and transport planning, including transport assessments for new developments, master planning and various urban regeneration projects including travel plans. You will be required to assist with the preparation of transport assessments, feasibility studies and travel plans, focusing on preparing junction capacity analysis, figures for reports, swept path assessments and drawings of improvements for junction designs. You will also be required to liaise with professionals including architects, and town planners on a frequent basis.

What you'll need to succeed
You will hold a qualification in Transport planning, engineering, town planning, geography and / or other numerate degrees. You'll possess private sector consultancy experience with familiarity of the Planning Regulatory Framework. You will have sound knowledge of planning and transport planning policies and relevant design standards and guidance.
