Job Details
Our client is a highly successful consultancy, and aree in the market to open a vacancy for a Structural CAD Technician to assist with the workload of exciting projects on a full-time permanent basis in their Bedford office. Their staff are energetic, driven and passionate about what they do, and this is reflected in their work. The Directors in the office are closely involved in all aspects of project work which creates & promotes a harmonious working environment.
You'll be preparing drawings and design documents in association with buildings structures, with a focus on foundations for housing. There will also be occasions where you will work on civil engineering structures (retaining walls/landscape structures). As well as this, managing the incoming and outgoing drawings and documents will be a part of the job role.
You will need:
- 2 years' experience using AutoCAD drafting of building structures
- Good working knowledge of main structural materials
- Experience of using TEDDS (not essential)
