Structural Project Engineer

A building structures engineer who is ready to take charge of his/her own projects is being sought by this leading UK owned firm. They are a multidiscipline consultancy employing building structures engineers, geologists, hydrologists, surveyors, architects and environmental scientists.  As a senior member of the buildings group you will report to an associate and after a period of familiarisation will take responsibility for the design and delivery of your own project workload. Projects are predominantly in London and the South East and typically include commercial, industrial, healthcare, educational and private developer work.

You will be involved in the whole design process from feasibility to completion. This will encompass client consultation, design supervision and supervision of junior staff. They are looking for an engineer with around five years or more experience. You should be working towards chartership ( they provide training and support to achieve chartership through the ICE and IStructE) and have a degree in civil or structural engineering degree from a reputable university.
