Lead Civil Design Engineer

Lead Civil Engineer needed by a structural and civil design consultancy in SE1.

The company do a wide variety of buildings design projects and these include residential, commercial, education, hotel and infrastructure.

The company are often shortlisted for awards for their design projects and have won on numerous occasions. They have also been ranked as an NCE100 company for the past three years in a row.

Your role will be the technical design for the civils in relation to building structures. This refers to:

• Foul and surface water drainage design (includeing SuDS)
• Flood risk assessments
• Cut and fill analysis
• Private and adoptable road design
• Design of public sewer systems
• Hard landscaping
• Vehicle tracking.

The ideal candidate will be Chartered with ICE and have several years experience in a similar role. You should be comfortable running projects independently. You will be the only Civil Engineer as they currently outsource all civils work. You will however have external consultants to aid you with your work.
