Your new role
In your new role, you will provide an appropriate level of civils design including surface and foul water drainage, levels, earthworks volumes and road alignments / pavement make-ups. You will be responsible for the production of detailed civil calculations in accordance with the relevant standards and procedures as well as ensuring quality of delivery when producing sketches or CAD drawings to internal and/or customer standards. A large aspect of this role will involve representing the organisation at technical design meetings and collaborating with other professionals within the construction industry.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a degree in Civil Engineering or similar and be chartered or working towards chartership through the ICE. It is essential that you are proficient in the use of Microdrainage, Civils 3D and AutoCAD. It is important that you have knowledge of CDM regulations, current UK technical standards/publications and legislation requirements. Ideally, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to werk well within a team of professionals.
