Senior Structural CAD/Revit Technician

We are working with a consultancy specialising in building structures who currently have a requirement for a Senior Structural CAD/Revit Technician to join their team in Central London on a full-time permanent basis.

The successful Senior Structural CAD/Revit Technician will be providing support on a range of both new build & refurbishment building structures projects, producing drawing information across all project stages from concept through to construction.

Projects: Retail, Commercial, Residential, Healthcare, Industrial and more.

Responsibilities:

• Producing structural CAD drawings for projects ranging from £100k to £10m
• Overseeing the company's drawing standards.
• Liaising with engineers, clients, architects and the external design team during the design process to develop scheme drawings
• Liaising with the contractor and design team during the construction process and answering queries relating to the drawings
• Liaising with freelance Revit technicians and acting as an intermediary between them, engineers and external design team, contractors etc.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience working as a structural CAD technician in Building Structures
• Experience in working on a range of projects from small domestic to large schemes in steel and concrete frame.
• Ideally a minimum of 1 year's project Revit experience.
• Some RC detailing experience ideally.

This role would ideally suit a candidate who has gained technical experience in a structural building consultancy with a CAD role but sees their future in Revit and is looking for an opportunity to make that transition. Support with Revit would be given.
