Job Details
Our client in an award winning British civil & structural consultancy, their Barcelona office carries out roads and drainage design work for UK projects. They are looking for a roads and drainage engineer who is fluent in English and Spanish who ideally has UK drainage design experience. Reporting to the office manager and head of civil engineering you will work closely with your colleagues in the London head office. You will need around five years or more experience of roads and drainage design with an emphasis on drainage and a good degree in civil engineering. Your role will encompass the designing and detailing of drainage systems and estate roads up to adoptable standards, negotiation and completion of the technical aspects of all required Section Agreements for highways and drainage works, the design of SUDS (Sustainable Urban Drainage systems), compliance with UK sustainability requirements and assistance in the production of Sur1 reports and basic flood risk assessments.
