Job Details
Our client is looking for an experience building structures engineer to join their team of forty building structures engineers and technicians. You would be joining a firmly established independent practice with a reputation for high quality work and client care. Their project workload offers technical interest and scale. You will handle a spectrum of work that typically includes, sports stadia, museum/arts, corporate HQ, manufacturing, residential and commercial schemes. They are looking for an engineer with a thorough understanding of steel and concrete design who can work closely with architects, developers and design & build contractors. Support will be provided by a highly skilled team of engineers and technicians and your manager, the head of the building structures division. You will ideally be a chartered structural engineer (MIStructE) or chartered civil engineer (MICE), or be incorporated. Your duties will include concept design, design and delivery, client liaison, project delivery, site inspections and providing guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
