Geotechnical Engineer

Your new company
Are an environmental engineering consultancy with a very enviable project portfolio across the UK & Ireland. With a new office in Edinburgh and ambitious growth plans to cover a growing workload across infrastructure, renewables and offshore projects.

Your new role
You will join the Edinburgh team and work closely with other geotechnical professionals in their various other locations across the UK & Ireland. You can expect to be involved in projects including; port and harbour projects, road and rail projects and urban developments. You will also be given the exposure to develop you skills within geoenvironmental engineering and regularly visit site to further develop your abilities.

What you'll need to succeed
You will require a relevant civil or geotechnical engineering degree and be willing to work towards becoming Chartered with the support of the business. You will be require experience in a consultancy environment acting as a geotechnical engineer on a variety of projects. Ideally you will have utilised Civil 3D, Infraworks, ArcGIS and AutoCAD although these aren't essential.
