Civil Engineering Technician

Your new company
Are a firm that specialise in sustainable transport infrastructure design. With offices across the UK they have been responsible for raising the funds, designing and managing the implementation of some of the most noteworthy active lifestyle projects in the built environment.

Your new role
You will join an established civil engineering design team to add your skills and knowledge to assist in the production of design proposals. You will be involved in their cradle to grave approach to projects and take on site visits, conduct surveys and generally provide technical support on preliminary and detailed design work e.g. cycle paths, roads geometry & layout, cycle paths structures, surface and ground water drainage systems, traffic signs and road markings.

What you'll need to succeed
You will require a relevant HNC, an ability to use AutoCAD efficiently in a live project environment achieving deadlines and an understanding of highway regulations and guidance.
