Principal Civil/ Structural Engineer

Our client is a leading specialist consultancy that has a workload of major projects throughout the capital. They are looking for a chartered civil or structural engineer with project delivery experience and a strong technical background to deliver projects and work closely with clients. Their clients are some of the busiest developers and contractors in the UK. They have a full order book and command healthy fee margins for their expertise. As a senior manager you will work closely with the managing director and will manage a team of engineers and technicians. You will oversee the design and delivery of complex basements, façade retentions and demolition schemes whilst supporting clients with their contractor design elements.

The role requires frequent contact with the project directors and managers of some of London’s most demanding building projects. They need an engineer with a good level of technical knowhow gained in a consulting or contracting environment. Duties will include approving design work, preparation of fee proposals, scheme development, client consultation and regular site visits, predominantly in Central London. This a profitable and well managed business that will offer future progression as they steadily expand.
