Senior Project Manager (Construction & Cost Consultancy) - 34375

I'm keen to speak to dynamic Project Managers to join a thriving construction and cost consultancy covering all aspects of the built environment and building assets.

Specialising Project Management, Building, Quantity Surveying - offering expert advice on all
aspects of commercial and residential construction.

The role is likely to involve the management of other members of staff or to direct and control a team of varying technical ability. It will also entail responsibility for the successful delivery of projects within budget and on programme.

Requirements of the Senior Project Manager:

Proven track record of extensive commercial & residential
Experience and ability to work on large scale projects
Experience of dealing with owner/ occupiers
Experience with dealing with large complex projects
Highly motivated and flexible individual with the aptitude to motivate/mentor/assist/ develop colleagues less qualified or experienced
High levels of attention to detail is essential
Effective team player and ability to manage a team
Ability to communicate confidently with clients, contractors and consultants
Ability to prioritise workload and meet stringent deadlines which will be evident through delivery of successful projects


Skills / Qualifications:

Degree (or equivalent) qualified and preferably RICS or APM accredited
Capable of communicating effectively and confidently with members of the design team, other professionals in the industry, and clients
Capable of working to strict targets and timescales with an ability to set deadlines
Robust and strong attitude to negotiations with contractors
Ability to challenge the design team
A full awareness of the design, procurement and construction process
An awareness of alternative procurement options available
Computer literate in respect of preparing spreadsheets
Excellent standards of numeracy and literacy skills
