Senior Project Manager (Multi-Dis Consultancy)

Great opportunity for career driven Project Managers to join a 150-year-old multi-disciplinary consultancy in their East Sussex office.

With turnover in excess of £10m, over £2bn's worth of projects going through the various stages of construction and a fantastic staff retention rate.

The Senior Project Manager will be expected to work with the local Partner to successfully deliver Project Management and Employers Agent commissions for capital investment construction projects. The role would ideally cover the whole project lifecycle from initial inception and business case development, through the design and procurement process and onto the site delivery and commissioning phase.

A Senior PM should possess the skills and experience to lead and manage a project team on a technically complex project between typically £5m and £20m, and for developing collaborative relationships with our clients and other team members.

Responsibilities of the Project Manager:

Project delivery of projects in at least one of the following sectors: Education (University), Education (Secondary), Education (Primary), Residential (Luxury), Residential (Mass Market), Sports & Leisure, Healthcare (Primary Care), Residential, Commercial (mixed-use)
Independently leading a series of projects as both day-to-day manager and as main project contact for client
Acting as interface with Fund Monitors, on behalf of Developers
Preparing and maintaining the usual trackers, programmes, registers etc associated with the role of a Project Manager
Delivery of Contract Administration / Employer's Agent roles in JCT 2016 (Traditional and D&B) and NEC forms of contract

Qualifications, Skills and Experience for the Project Manager:

Ideally from Architectural, Engineering or Quantity Surveying background, with real world experience of the mechanisms of project delivery
Likely to have 4-7 years' experience at project management delivery at all RIBA stages of the project life cycle, beyond any previous construction industry experience
Preferably experienced in delivery of CA/EA roles in JCT and NEC forms of contract
