Senior Civil Engineer

Conrad Consulting is working alongside a respected Structural Engineering consultant to appoint a Senior Civil Engineer to their Glasgow office as they look to establish a Civils team.

Due to the nature of this role, you must be comfortable working under minimal supervision. Although there are immediate plans to build a team of Civil Engineers and Technicians around you, there will be a short period of time when you are the only Civil Engineer in the office.

They offer Structural Engineering services throughout the UK and in other offices, the business has grown to offer Civil Engineering services, too.

Glasgow is earmarked for investment to build a Civils team and offer an increased service level for clients and the pipeline of projects requiring civils work is extensive.

Portfolio of work on offer includes several £20M+ building developments, mixed-use redevelopments and civil infrastructure work.

ABOUT YOU

• Experienced in providing design and delivery services on infrastructure development projects (roads/drainage)
• You must be comfortable using Civil 3D or PDS
• Ability to communicate effectively with other disciplines, clients and third parties
• Willingness to mentor Junior Civil Engineers
• Aspirations to move into an Associate role in the near future
• Chartered status would be advantageous
