Structural Design Engineer

A near or recently Chartered structural design engineer is required to join this award winning civil and structural engineering consultancy based in North London. They specialise in the design of buildings structures and the associated civil engineering infrastructure. The firm is a medium sized, well established business with a low staff turnover and good working environment. The firms varied workload offers the chance to work with some of the country's top architectural practices and leading contractors.

The vacancy is for a structural engineer experienced in the design of buildings structures in all the common materials, with projects ranging from domestic to new build developments with project values in excess of £100m.

You should be fully technically proficient with excellent communication skills and able to design in all the main materials. You will be expected to undertake designs from feasibility through to detailed stages and to represent the company at meetings. The work will also include some structural surveys and report writing.
