Your new company is an award winning, leading consultancy having specialised in the built environment for over 50 years. Their services include Civils & Structures, Transport Planning, Environmental, Infrastructure, Geotechnical, Conservation & Heritage and Principal Designer. With offices all over the UK and an ever expanding workload, they are now looking to appoint a Revit Technician to join their high performing Bristol Structures team.

Your new role
You will have a leading role in developing the team and will be confident with strong interpersonal skills. Your new company are looking for someone with ability to communicate and collaborate effectively, both with colleagues and the wider design team. You will be accurate and reliable with the production of 2D structural drawings and 3D REVIT models, responsible for the delivery of structural drawings in all materials - experience of RC detailing preferable but not essential as well as mentoring and developing apprentice technicians.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be qualified up to a minimum of HNC level, ideally holding or working towards TIStructE and EngTech status, fully competent in the use of AUTOCAD and REVIT Structure, have a working knowledge of Level 2 BIM Protocol and PAS 1192 and ability to develop project BIM Execution Plans, TIDP, MIDP etc. and the ability to develop 3D structural models, drawings, schedules and quantitative data to BIM Level 2 requirements. You will ideally be motivated to learn alternative drawing packages (Dynamo, Navisworks, Revisto, Tekla etc.) and have experience in producing drawings for concepts, Tender and Construction status information. You'll be able to work on own initiative while collaborating with wider team with good knowledge of construction techniques and materials.
