A competent graduate structural engineer is sought to join the London office of this dynamic, creative and ambitious structural engineering practice. You must already have some experience of working in a structural design consultancy. The practice has won various awards, IStructE, RIBA and RSUA and are proud to be in the NCE Top 100.

The role will involve both drawings and design, as the engineers here do their own drawing work.

The London office has modern studio style work space in the heard of the design district in EC1. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal yet productive and progressive. The company offer a relaxed dress code and flexible working hours. They play music (quietly) in the office and provide free fruit, posh coffee, excellent training/CPD and there are plenty of regular social functions, company trips etc.

Projects are often architecturally led and normally from repeat business clients. They work on various buildings structures schemes, commercial, residential, schools projects and some more unusual structures too. The work is a good mix of refurb and new build. Projects in London are currently up to around £18, in value and commonly average £3-4m.

The firm is well established with over 30 staff in total and senior personnel who are MIStructE, MICE and MIEI qualified. The London office is now the growth area focus and plans to build up to approx. 20 staff in the next few years (currently stands at 7).

The firm are known for their flexible and pro-active approach towards working with fellow architects, artists, designers, developers and contractors.
