Due to this significant period of growth your new company are now looking for a Principal Transport Planner to join the Bristol team.

Your new role & what you'll need to succeed
You will be required to deliver, maintain and develop the highest standards of client care, and ideally, the ability to win new business. You will be responsible for promoting a number of complex projects for clients including developers, land promoters and land owners. The position requires an excellent understanding of the Development Plan process, the preparation of representations, and experience or the ability to give evidence at Examination in Public. The role also includes the application of 5-year housing land supply, analysing and interpreting housing numbers using different models. Some experience in the preparation of case scale planning application is desirable as well as the management of consultant teams.

This position plays a key role within the Bristol office, working closely with the Planning Directors, as well as the design, environment and economics departments within the wider company. You will ideally have a minimum of 7 years' experience and be a Chartered Professional. Any previous private consultancy experience is also desirable.
