We are looking for Senior Structural Engineer do undertake the design and analysis of building structures, while leading a team of other Structural Engineers and Structural Technicians on projects throughout the UK and Ireland.


→ Based in Glasgow city centre with a modern, edgy and open-plan office.

→ Have long been recognised as a leader in Structural Engineering throughout the UK & Ireland.

→ Have shown the ability to attract and retain extremely talented Structural Engineers.

→ Current headcount over 60.

→ Progressive, forward-thinking and employee focussed.


You will join and lead a team of 7 Structural Engineers and Technicians.

Manage the delivery of several projects.

Oversee design output.

Act as the point of contact for clients, external consultants and other third parties.

Assist with the training of Graduate Engineers.

You will still be required to contribute technically.

Joining as a Senior Structural Engineer, you will have 3 options:

  • REMAIN (no Brexit pun intended) - Continue to operate at a Senior Engineer level if this is what you feel comfortable with

  • OPERATIONAL - Progress into an Associate Director role, taking more commercial responsibility and gradually move away from technical delivery

  • TECHNICAL - Progress to a Technical Director role, taking more design/delivery responsibility without the commercial elements of the Associate role

  • Whatever your preference, you will be supported and mentored appropriately.

    A clear career path will be discussed from the initial interview which can be tailored to your strengths.


    Salary will depend on experience and qualifications but will be between £38,000 and £46,000.
