Civil 3D Modeller

An Auto CAD civil 3 modeller is required by one of London’s more progressive consultancies. Their civil engineering team is working on major new and regeneration projects in the UK and mainland Europe. You will report to a civil engineering associate as part of a team of civil engineers and technicians. Your role will be to produce surface and 3D solid modelling and analysis within an integrated multidiscipline design environment that fully utilises BIM. The position offers training and career progression, they have a secure long term workload and  are expanding their in-house civil engineering capability.    

The practice has carved out a reputation for engineering innovation. It has an integrated approach to the design process. There will be a close working relationship with your in-house architectural and engineering colleagues.  Training and development is strong with the opportunity to pursue professional qualifications and to stay up to date on the latest modelling, CAD, engineering and technology advances. Their London office employs just over one hundred engineers, it has been carefully designed to provide the best possible working environment. They are highly resourced and advanced in their use of BIM and virtual reality and keen to exploit new technologies.

You should be qualified to HNC or degree level in CAD or civil engineering and have two or more years’ experience, ideally  focusing on developer led civil infrastructure.
