Our client is a successful engineering consultancy who are enjoying an increased workload and, as a result, are currently seeking an ambitious Structural Design Engineer with at least 5 years' post graduate experience.

A broad project base is on offer including multi storey RC structures as well as retail, commercial and residential.

Candidates will be keen to work towards Chartership and progress to having the ability to run projects and liaising with clients and architects. Assistance will be given for those working towards membership of the Institute of Civil Engineers or Institution of Structural Engineers

Requirements:

  • Must hold a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering,
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Structural Design Engineer,
  • Experienced in the use of Autocad and Revit 2020,
  • Familiar with Robot 2020 modelling and Robot Structural Analysis Professional 2020.

Knowledge of design in all materials is required, including steelwork, masonry and timber as well as EuroCode experience. Training will be provided as well as ongoing design skill development which is normally provided to continually enhance Eurocode design knowledge and skills and keep up with emerging BIM trends.
