They design and deliver, to the highest possible standard, on a variety of projects ranging from residential developments to multi-million-pound structural design projects. Their high degree of quality and expertise have seen them recently been listed in the top 100 Civil Engineering companies from a survey by New Civil Engineer (NCE) and they are looking for a Structural Engineer to maintain and progress this level of prestige.
Your new role
In your new role you will have the opportunity to work across a wide range of sectors as part of a diverse and vibrant team, delivering a variety of projects predominantly within the building structures environment. In your new role you will prepare and check design calculations for structural elements, as well as create technical drawings, sketches and specifications to an acceptable standard. You will be responsible for producing high quality technical reports for the projects you undertake. Due to the dynamic nature of this role you will be expected to attend site projects when necessary, liaise with clients and partake in design meetings.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or similar. Excellent written and verbal skills is a necessity for effective communication with the internal team and for developing external relationships with clients. As a graduate, you will be extremely motivated and eager to learn as well as being ambitious to develop and progress within the company.
