Job Details
Our client is a well known and respected medium sized consultancy with an excellent reputation in the building structures sector. They have an exciting and expanding workload and as a result are looking to increase their current successful team in Cambridge.
Structural Technician
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience working in the UK with an engineering consultancy. You will have gained experience in different types of construction materials and worked on a broad range of schemes (residential, commercial, retail etc.).
The successful candidate will be supervised under the guidance of a Senior Technician to draw and detail a wide variety of projects as part of a talented structural team. The Technician, as a minimum should have very good knowledge of AutoCAD and although not essential, experience in REVIT would be preferable. The role will allow the Technician to further develop their drawing and detailing skills whilst learning how to use REVIT on the majority of their projects.
This role provides excellent scope for continued career progression and ongoing training. There will be a generous salary package which is negotiable depending on the individual's ability, experience etc., but likely to be in the region of £24-34,000 p.a.
