Our client is a highly regarded multi office firm of Consulting Engineers. They have a strong presence in the West Country and are looking to appoint additional staff in their busy Gloucestershire office.
Structural Project Engineer
Ideally you will have 3-6 years experience, although exceptional candidates with lesser experience could also be considered.
Our client is looking for both experienced candidates with 3+ years experience who are working towards Chartership as well as more recent graduates.
As a forward-thinking practice, they are entering an exciting stage of development and are expanding. They undertake high profile commercial and residential projects, including new builds, refurbishments and extensions. They have a broad client range including valuable private clients and long-standing relationships with major national clients.

You will have a B.Eng or M.Eng Civil / Structural Engineering or Engineering Design and 3 or more years’ commercial experience. You will be a self starter and have excellent communication and organisation skills. You will be a good team player who will enjoy working as part of their dynamic, growing team.
A good knowledge of steel, concrete, timber and load bearing masonry structures is essential and the ability to design to British Standards or Eurocodes. Experience with computer software is desirable – notably TEKLA Structural Designer, Robot and TEDDS; and you will need to be an excellent communicator with a positive working attitude.
This is a permanent position and successful candidates will have the opportunity to take on a variety of projects and be involved in all aspects from scheme design, through to construction on site. You will undertake site visits throughout the UK in relation to extension and refurbishment projects for national clients, as well as working on new-build schemes.
This role offers a competitive starting salary (negotiable depending on the individual's ability / experience etc., but likely to be in the region of £30-40,000+ p.a.), the chance to progress within the company and train towards chartership with the IStructE together with a company pension.
