Project Engineers – Structures & Heavy Civil -Auckland, NZ

The civil and infrastructure season is getting busier in New Zealand and one of the leading heavy civil contractors has just secured a major project in Auckland region. As a company they have an excellent track record across Australasia, delivering some of the regions most complex and important infrastructure projects.

In preparation for the start of the project in the New Year they are looking for a number of Project Engineers with heavy civil experience to join the team. Your broader civil and infrastructure experience will be beneficial but it is essential that the bulk of your focus has been on civil structures and major concrete projects including bridges, water treatment plants, foundations, piling, retaining walls to name but a few. In your role as Project Engineer you will be comfortable managing a package or section of work that includes health & safety, ongoing site management and subcontractor management whilst at the same time running a team of junior engineers. Other desirable attributes include,

• A degree or equivalent industry qualification
• Excellent man management skills
• Great communication and IT skills
• A sense of humour and a desire to do a great job
