Chartered Structural Engineer

Your new company
Are a small structural engineering consultancy firm based in the centre of Edinburgh. Famed for their collaborative approach with Architects to complete appealing and aesthetic designs for a range of buildings from historic refurbishment through to modern commercial premises.

Your new role
You will join the small team working closely with colleagues from Directors and Owners of the business through to Graduates to deliver structural design on a range of projects. Projects can include historical buildings, commercial developments and one off high-end residential design.

What you'll need to succeed
You will require a membership of an appropriate professional institution; ICE or IStructE. It's essential that the basis of this qualification has been gained in a consultancy environment designing buildings and ideally that will have involved historical regeneration projects.
