Roads & Drainage Engineer

This award winning civil and structural Engineering consultancy specialises in the design of building structures and the associated civil engineering infrastructure. They have been at the forefront of sustainable developments in the UK and are  further developing their capabilities in this field. They have a new position for a civil engineer experienced in the design of below ground drainage and highways. Projects range from residential conversions to new developments  valued in excess of £100m .

You should be familiar with the use of AutoCad, Microdrainage and Auto Desk Civils 3D or similar ground modelling packages. Your duties will include the design and detailing of drainage schemes and estate roads up to adoptable standards, completion of the section agreements for highways and drainage works, design of sustainable drainage systems, ensuring compliance with the standards for sustainable homes ( including production of “Sur1” reports) , producing basic flood risk assessments and checking reports prepared by external consultants. You should be HND or degree qualified and chartered or Incorporated or working towards it.
