Structural Engineer

Your new company
Are an SME consultancy based in the centre of Edinburgh's New Town. Over recent years they have been adding to head count organically as the Director's have grown their reputation securing consistent work from key Contractors, Developers and Architects as well as focusing on new work further afield than Scotland. You can expect projects in most sectors, including some you have not have previously considered a possibility in Edinburgh.

Your new role
You will join the team based in their Edinburgh offices who provide structural engineering services to the construction market across the UK.
You will be tasked with structural design and analysis using up to date design and calculation software such as Revit, TSD and Tekla Tedds. You will also conduct site visits, surveys and follow up reports for both clients and in office use.

What you'll need to succeed
You will require a relevant accredited Civil or Structural Engineering degree, ideally a Masters and be currently or willing to work towards Chartered status. UK based consultant engineering employment experience is a must to be coherent in BS and EC for structural design. Experience of, or willingness to learn the noted software is essential.
