Project Manager - Public Sector / Residential - London

Many would say that the construction industry is the last to delve into the modern era, a windows 03 computer still a common sight in some offices and questioned expressions upon hearing "is it ok if I leave on time tonight?" being a common occurrence.

However, this isn't the approach our client takes. Incorporated in 1982 our client has spent the last 37 years evolving and developing as we adjust to a more modern way of living. This is shown aptly in their work. As an award-winning Property and Construction multi-disciplinary consultancy they have successfully made their stamp delivering projects worldwide.

Over the years they have managed a variety of projects from urban renewals, English Heritage, regeneration schemes to renovations, their dedicated teams of Project Managers and Building Surveyors have given this company a respectful name in the industry and here is your chance to become a member of the team.

THE ROLE:

·Split between the office (West London) and various projects in London
·Reporting into the Public Sector Regeneration Partner
·Writing of Building condition reports and schedules of condition reports
·Defect Diagnosis
·Producing tender documents (preambles, specifications, preliminaries)
·Managing stakeholders in order to fulfil the client's needs
·Managing and supporting more Junior members of the team
·Client meetings

THE PERFECT CANDIDATE:

·Fully Chartered Project Manager/Building Surveyor (MRICS) OR Construction related degree accredited by the RICS
·Minimum 2 years post qualification
·Proficient user of AutoCAD
·Confident in advising owners and occupiers on maintenance and statutory responsibilities
·Full clean driving license
·Experience and good working knowledge in defect diagnosis and planned maintenance schedules
·Ability to use initiative especially when it comes to making a project more sustainable.

·£46,000 Base Salary (Negotiable depending on experience)
