Assistant Transport Planner

A multi discipline consultancy is looking to expand their current Cambridge team by recruiting an Assistant Transport Planner. You will be joining a team who have recently completed a range of Residential, Commercial, Retail, Leisure, Education and Masterplanning projects across the UK. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant subject (e.g. Geography or Civil Engineering), together with having at least 6 months experience within a Transport Planning position. Applicants with an MSc in Transport Planning is preferred, though not essential. As an Assistant Transport Planner, you will be responsible for:

• Contributing towards Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, Travel Plans and Transport Feasibility Studies
• Producing swept path analysis drawings and preliminary designs
• Modelling using ARCADY and PICADY
• Support senior team members
• Liaising with other teams within in the business
