Embark upon a rewarding new career in construction dispute resolution with an internationally recognised consultancy:
This is a position for a chartered civil engineer with excellent communication skills and an analytical mind. You should have a background in contracting, consulting or project management that has given you an overview of the design and construction process. A strong academic background is required that must include a 2:1 class of degree or above from a reputable university. As one of a team of experts you will receive training with an emphasis on project delay and dispute resolution. Projects will include industrial, energy, oil and gas, marine, commercial, public sector, residential and infrastructure. The work is international with an emphasis on Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Your role will be to provide forensic analysis and the provision of independent advice on the causes of project overruns and how to turn around distressed projects.
The practice is home to experts drawn from the engineering, commercial and project management segments of the construction industry. Projects will be large and complex, valued up to £1 billion and often the subject of claims and litigation. You will be joining a team that has provided expert witness testimony for arbitration and litigation in all international forums of dispute resolution. The range and depth of experience you will gain will enable you to progress your career swiftly and, should you wish, work towards becoming an expert witness.
