An experienced and talented Associate or Associate Director level structural engineer is sought to join this progressive and growing practice based in their Central London office. The firm is part of a larger group of companies hence can give the small firm feel whilst having the backing and resources of the group as a whole. They provide a comprehensive benefits package typical of working for a large practice. This practice is a well established consultancy, has been featured in the Top 10 Fastest Growing Companies in the Buildings Magazine league and is currently running at a 20% profit margin, with turnover in excess of £0.5m.

The practice has an exciting and challenging portfolio of varied buildings design projects including work in alternative and developing materials. They work on both new build and refurbishment buildings projects in a variety of sectors, such as residential, commercial, sport and leisure and retail. Their work is equally divided between contractor led, architecturally lead and D+B projects.

The role is for a key position in the practice assisting the Directors and would involve taking responsibility for the hands on design of and running of projects ranging from £100,000 up to around £10m on average. You would also be mentoring/assisting the graduate engineers and be responsible for liaising with clients and architects.

You CV should have a wealth of buildings design experience and ideally you should be MIStructE or MICE.

Staff work a 36.5 hour week and usually finish early on a Friday. Package includes generous holiday allowance, generous pension scheme, car allowance, life assurance and healthcare.
