Due to their consistent growth and increase in workload, they are now looking to employ a Structural Engineer to help drive the company forward and continue their top quality service.


Your new role
In your new role you will prepare and check design calculations for structural elements, as well as create technical drawings, sketches and specifications to an acceptable standard. You will be responsible for producing high quality technical reports for the projects you undertake. Due to the dynamic nature of this role you will be expected to attend site projects when necessary, liaise with clients and partake in design meetings.


What you'll need to succeed
You will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or similar and will be chartered or working towards chartership. It is important to have demonstrable proficiency in AutoCAD, Tedds and Tekla. You will have good experience as a Structural Engineer within the buildings sector. Excellent written and verbal skills is a necessity for effective communication with the internal team and for developing external relationships with clients. Ultimately, you will be extremely motivated and determined to enhance your career within a Structural Engineering environment.
