Senior Highways Engineer

Exciting job opening as a Senior Highways Engineer, based in Chelmsford, with a highly reputable company.

You will be working for one of the largest and most reputable engineering companies in the industry, located in Chelmsford. Your new role

You will be designing exciting projects with values up to £100 million, making sure that they are delivered to the highest technical standards, whilst mentoring up and coming, motivated engineers and technicians. You will be leading a team to successfully deliver bridge designs, assessments and inspections to a high standard, on time and to budget.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to have a proven track record of delivering quality projects within budget, whilst also having experience of bridge design, particularly in structural steel and reinforced concrete. Expertise and experience in all aspects of highway alignment design is important, as well as experience in dealing with clients.
