Your new company
Your new company is a well known organisation operating out of Manchester city centre, working on large scale highways, traffic, transport, rail and infrastructure projects. They manage of large transport network, handling design and project management tasks.
Your new role
In your new role you will you will lead the civil engineering function, working on the asset management of track and civil engineering assets integral to their current operation. You will work closely with electrical and mechanical engineers to deliver maintenance and design projects on the transport network. You will be charged with managing the following aspects - bridges, tunnels, retaining walls, earthworks, car parks, buildings and drainage to name a few. You will working on complex maintenance strategy and assist with the management of external civil consultants. This is a varied role, so this is a great opportunity to develop your skills in other area and become a better all round engineer.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need to come from a strong civil engineering background, having experience with track engineering or rail engineering. It is also vital that you have experience working maintaining assets and working on design projects.
