Autonomy. Independence. Freedom. Flexibility as a Structural Engineer.
You've been working as a Structural Engineer for a number of years now, designing buildings from residential new builds and alterations, to commercial structures in steel and RC.
Perhaps you're used to a large consultancy design office, but looking for a friendlier, more flexible work environment where your efforts are valued and appreciated.
Here, you'll benefit from flexible working hours, working collaboratively with an ambitious and technically-astute Director and chartered structural engineer who will not only support your professional development, but will encourage you to work independently on projects using your sought-after knowledge and experience of building structures.
* Salary up to £45,000
* Support towards chartership
* Flexible working to suit your lifestyle
This is a relatively young practice, so you'll benefit from the opportunity to shape its growth, working on a diverse range of exciting architect and contractor led building projects where no two days are the same.
Using your knowledge of Eurocodes and British Standards, as well as your skills in AutoCAD and relevant FEA software, you'll work closely with the ambitious Director to produce a high quality design and report service that you can take pride in.
Design software knowledge is important, but if you feel it's not your strong suit, that's fine as training and support will be provided to you.
If you're ready to escape the commute to London, or the pressures of a large consultancy environment, we need to talk about your career development and work/life balance.
You don't have to have your CV up to date right now. Call Darryl Yates at Conrad Consulting today on 07715 534277, or click apply to start the conversation.
