Structural Engineer

This independently owned consultancy has offices in Mainland Europe and Australia. Their disciplines include mechanical and electrical, civil and facades with a leading and prominent building structures division. As a member of their structures group you are assured a close involvement on schemes with high design values that will fully engage your technical skills whilst involving you throughout the design process. With engineering excellence at the heart of their offing they need a structural engineer who has a passion for his/ her work backed up by technical and creative talent. You will need a 2:1 from a reputable university and three or more years building structures experience.

You will be part of a fifteen strong design team working on schemes that will typically include commercial, mixed use developments, educational, arts & leisure and retail buildings frequently in collaboration with leading architects. Your analytical and lateral thinking skills will be tested on a range of predominantly steel and concrete structures, some of which will become landmark buildings. They are located in a vibrant part of central London and their offices are highly resourced. They carry licences for a range of engineering computer software, REVIT, Auto CAD and BIM are central to their work.  Interviews will be held in April, the successful candidate will  visit their European headquarters in the Summer. There are excellent long term prospects for development and career progression.
