Health and Safety Manager

Our client is one of the largest and most sought-after Structural Steel contractors in the country.
They are currently looking for an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join the company on a permanent basis.
The role offers exposure to some of the largest construction projects in Ireland.

As the Health and Safety Manager you will play a key role in the success of the project's delivery.
You will ensure that the work environment is safe and compliant with the industry-wide legislation by providing professional advice.
You will ensure that weekly inspections are completed, identifying all potential work-place hazards
As part of your duties you will be expected to assess training gaps and mentor/educate the workforce.
It is also key that you liaise with the company safety team to compile all reports and ensure plans are put into action promptly to address non-compliances.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Will be educated to degree level, or relevant equivalent
3+ years' experience within a similar construction site role
Knowledge of Steel erection and working at height is advantageous

€60,000 - €65,000 p/a
