Senior Bridge Engineer

£40-55k

A Senior Bridge Engineer, who has gained Chartership status, is required by a multi disciplinary practice to work within their Central London office. The successful candidate must have several years of experience working with bridges in the UK industry.

Duties for the role will include:

  • Leading the design and assessment process for various forms of bridges or civil structures in both rail and road.
  • Reporting to the Project Director.
  • Assisting and mentoring less experienced engineers in the team.
  • Working alongside the Divisional Director with business development/ work winning

The company itself has been established for over 90 years' and has a strong bridge division spread over several offices across the UK. They have delivered successful projects to big name clients which include; Network Rail, TFL, London Underground and Highways England, as well as some international projects.

Minimum qualifications required are:

  • BSc, BEng or MSc degree in Civil Engineering
  • Chartered status (CEng) with Institution of Civil Engineers (MICE)
  • Experience in analytical software packages such as Midas, Sofistik, LUSAS etc
  • Design and assessment experience of bridges
