Structural Engineer 35-50k

A Civil and Structural Design Consultancy with over 50 years consulting experience situated in Eastbourne are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to join their friendly team. You will be running multiple jobs at once, so you must be happy to juggle. Most of the jobs are residential/domestic buildings projects, ranging from defect inspections/minor alterations/beam designs/insurance claims/expert witness/extensions/listed buildings and conservation works. The projects tend to cover the spectrum of materials too; steel, concrete and timber and masonry. It is also worth noting that the candidate would need to be able to do their own design and drawing work as they do not employ a separate technician team.

The ideal candidate should be:

- Chartered or near chartered

- Be able to run their own projects

- Have good software knowledge

- Be happy to deal with clients

• Enjoy hands on design in all the main materials
