Marine Structural Cad TechnicianFantastic new opportunity for a Marine Structures CAD Technician to join this multi-disciplinary engineering design practice based in Central London. Contract or permanent candidate applications welcomed!This medium sized practice provides service throughout England and Wales in a variety of projects. The company has a proven track record in structural engineering with a specialist division in permanent and temporary marine structures. The role will include working on a number of different projects within marine structures. Projects include working on: jetties, pontoons, wharves, quay walls, cofferdams, scour protection mesures and flood defences. Further duties include working on temporary structures, the design of small structural items as well as working on larger civil structures, such as civil design for major Network Rail line upgrades.Suitable candidates for this role must have: HND in Construction (Civil Engineering), Sufficient experience in AutoCAD, with exposure to amending and designing 2D drawings. You must be familiar with complying alongside Quality Management Systems (QMS). Candidates should be able to demonstrate independence whilst at work, as well as contributing as a team player. Furthermore, experience in AutoCAD of design centre, data linking and extraction, dynamic blocks, fields, lisp routines, parametric constraints and 3D modelling would be advantageous as would experience of Projectwise.The role will offer great opportunities for career progression within a friendly and professional team that is proud of the quality of service it delivers to its clients.For permanent staff, the company offer:
