Fantastic opportunity to work for a tier 1 volume residential builder in the West Midlands
Your new company
You will be working for one of the largest home builders in the UK who has over 15 regional across England, Scotland and Wales.
Building a range of properties, from one and two bedroom apartments to six bedroom detached houses, my client builds for both the public and private sector with a broad price range. Running every regional office as a local house builder, my client has in depth expertise and knowledge of the local market, therefore being able to understand and develop not just homes but the infrastructure surrounding the site, meeting the needs and demands of the local people.
Your new role
You will be responsible for:
- Comply with company build policy and procedures
- Working with the Site Manager, supervise all sub-contractors and trades
- Co-ordination of sub-contractors and material deliveries to assist the Site Manager in ensuring an efficient method of build
- To ensure working methods are performed correctly
- At all times comply with company policies, procedures and instructions
- Liaise with Sales Department and customers to ensure the highest possible customer care performance / satisfaction
- Support the management and motivation of the section's labour
What you'll need to succeed
In order for you to succeed, you will need to possess the following competencies:
- Previous site management experience is essential
- You will be commercially aware with excellent organisational skills
- You must have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated and customer focused
- You must be numerate with good IT skills
- You should have leadership skills (control and management of employees)
- You must hold a driving license
- Sound knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment
What you'll get in return
The successful candidate will receive a salary of £30,000 to £45,000 dependant on candidate experience. Alongside this you will receive a generous package which includes company car / car allowance, pension contribution, private medical and holiday entitlement.
